Sarah and Brad had a beautiful reception at the Island Resort & Casino. I LOVE the focused attention on guests for their first dance in this photo. That’s really what it’s all about. Your guests focused on the reason they are there – to celebrate with you as you take your first steps in life together.

Amber and Dan’s wedding this weekend went wonderfully…thanks to the assistance of her parents, good friends and Spiro’s Catering. You would not even know that this venue was a Knights of Columbus hall. They maximized their wedding budget and came out with a beautiful reception where everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest all night long.

Vanessa and Jeff had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Pine Grove Country Club. Vanessa, Jeff and I had several meetings, including two in Lower Michigan where they live to help plan their ceremony and reception. All of our hard work came to fruition in creating a very memorable ceremony and reception. Friday afternoon was time for rehearsal and I arrived at 3:30pm to help them organize and run through the ceremony along with Pastor Bill Seitz. Gary and the staff at Pine Grove are always prepared and I was impressed that Gary even laid out his own chairs on the ceremony grounds to help everyone get a feel for the ceremony layout as the rental chairs wouldn’t arrive until the next afternoon. Thanks to Keith Freeman from Freemans Photography for stopping by on his way home to capture this shot to the left.
If ever there was a couple that was made for each other….it’s Chelsea and Lance. Lance owns his own DJ company Sound Bytes DJs based in Traverse City so who does another DJ hire when it comes time for him and his beloved to get married. I was honored to be chosen to be Chelsea and Lance’s Wedding Entertainment Director.

Dana and Andy planned a GORGEOUS ceremony and reception at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. They hired me back in November of 2008 for their upcoming wedding in July of 2010. Originally their plan was to get married in Marquette Michigan but one day that changed as Dana woke up one morning and decided that on her wedding day she wanted to get married in the local area that she used to call home.
