Wedding Entertainment Director Mitch Taylor

Mitch Taylor has over eighteen years in the broadcasting, entertainment, club and wedding industries.  He got his start back in radio in his home state of Maine at 102.1 WGUY-FM and 104.7 WWFX-FM.  From there, Mitch went to work on the cruise ships of Carnival Cruise Lines out of Los Angeles and Miami as the on board club disc jockey.  After meeting the love of his life on board ship, Mitch moved to the Metro Detroit area where he worked as a club DJ and wedding entertainer for seven years.  In August of 2003, Mitch and his family moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to raise their family and opened the doors of his own company with Taylored Entertainment, now Taylored Weddings.

In September of 2007, Mitch took a leap of faith and began operating Taylored Weddings as a full-time wedding entertainment company.  By February of 2008, Mitch was honored by being accepted as the first Wedding Entertainment Director from the state of Michigan by the Wedding Entertainment Directors Guild.

Mitch is currently a published writer as well, writing monthly columns for the industry’s leading periodical Disc Jockey News and for the ADJA’s own Current Audition.  Mitch has spoken in front of his peers at industry conferences such as ARMDJS, Mobile Beat Las Vegas, DJ Retreat, USA Weddings, and the Las Vegas DJ Show.  Mitch currently serves as the E3 Area Governor for Toastmasters District 35, Bay De Noc Toastmasters President and founding President of the UP Chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association.  Mitch lives in Gladstone with his wife Michelle and children Hunter and Kendall.

 

Master of Ceremonies

Josh Barron

Josh Barron is the first Master of Ceremonies to work with Taylored Weddings.  Josh came to Taylored Weddings with a love for music, zest for life and passion for entertaining.  Josh recently completed the Marbecca Method Bronze and Silver Master of Ceremonies and Love Story workshop and will also achieve his Creative License from the Entertainment Experience workshop in Minneapolis in March of 2012.

Josh LOVES celebrating special moments for couples in love, entertaining for students of local high schools and coming up with new and creative ideas to help make your event unforgettable.  Josh can also be found on the afternoon drive with Josh Barron on KX Country 104.7 in Escanaba.

 

Creative Director Tosha Doyen

Tosha is the newest addition to the Taylored Weddings staff but don’t let her newness with us fool you.  Tosha has worked in and around weddings for a few years now and really enjoys people and helping to celebrate at wedding receptions.  She brings her banquet know-how to the stage with Taylored Weddings with a great attitude of always going above and beyond to ensure your day is a success.
